Spin A Yarn for Ewe

I finished the This and That yarn. It was fun to spin something where I did not worry about being consistent and just let it flow through my hands. Not that I usually stress over it but I try to keep it even. This time was like spinning with reckless abandon. Very fun. I plied it with a cotton thread. One skein with beads and one skein without. I also decided to try my hand at beehives and coils again and I liked how they turned out. They should add some real fun to a finished object. I am thinking that this might be for my skein exchange person. I would probably send both even though it is a One Skein exchange but together the 2 only make 122 yards so you really should have both. Plus they are exact matches that I could not even come close to doing again. I also like how the mohair locks stick out in places. Next time I think I will ply some in to get the full lock action going.

No new wheel yet but she is now on her way. Tuesday or Wednesday I am hoping. Watch out mailman!
