Spin A Yarn for Ewe

I finally took some photos of the yarn I got for the Revised Arwen and also of the cable progress. I am at about 10" on the back and will start the armhole shaping around 13" so we are getting there.

Like I said before this pattern is so much fun and cabling without a cable needle is the way to go. It makes it so much faster and easier plus it is one less needle to carry around.

Here is the Arwen yarn.
Now I worked really hard to get the color of this yarn as close to right as I can on my monitor. I have to say when it showed up I was shocked as the picture on the Beaverslide website looks nothing like the yarn I have at my house. I mean they are both blueish but I really think the similarity ends there. I really do love the color that arrived as I seconded guessed myself after I pushed the submit order button that the yarn was going to be too dull. Sometimes things just work out in the end.
