Dandy Lion
I finally finished the MARCH fiber from Spunky and I love it. The colors are great and I think I may have enough for the sock/hat set I want to do. I ended up with 241 yards of DK weight yarn. Surprise, surprise on the yardage. The last 2 club fibers I spun up, Sweet Sheep and Spunky, both 4oz both exactly 241 yards just like this one.
Guess you can say that my spinning is consistent.
The lace is plugging away and I am almost up to the next set of beads. Those rows just have to be done at home since between the beads and the very small crochet hook all I can say is that it is not portable. I really hope that I can have this done by next Tuesday for dinner at my parents. I think it is possible. I am also eyeing other lace patterns already so I can see the lace bug coming on. Gina even made a button for lace in May. See over on the left.

Thanks so much for putting up the lace button.
And, boy, you ARE consistent...makes it much easier to know so that you can buy exactly how much fiber you need for a certain project. I haven't quite gotten there yet...except if I use the exact same fiber.

The yarn turned out beautifully. I am really looking forward to spinning that one up myself. I love the colours.
How do you measure your yardage?
