Spin A Yarn for Ewe

Today I really had nothing to post about since the black blob of lace is just looking bigger but I am almost done. I have one more row of beads then on to the last 14 rows. I can not wait to see it blocked as I think it should look really good. Hopefully.

But this came today from the Sweet Sheep club.

Oh my! It is merino and bamboo and I love the color. I have been on a pink thing for a while now and this really gets it. I can not wait to spin it up or maybe it will sit on my desk for a while so I can stare at it. I just love getting surprises in the mail. I see more club subscriptions in my future.

The other day Vera asked how I measure the yardage of my yarn. What I do is count the number of wraps on my niddy noddy as I wind it off and then to the math. I am sure there are other ways but I find this the easiest for me. And yes, Gina, those are Knit Picks needles you see in my lace. They are my new favorite and right in my price range. I fact I just ordered some more of the smaller sized ones.
