Pounding head on desk...

now I know why I just follow lace patterns and do not try to re-do them. I have knit and ripped this second section 4 times and swatched it and can still not get it right. I gave up cut the yarn and started the symmetrical version. Yes, I had to cut the yarn so I can knit the other half and graft together at the end. It will now have 2 points with 2 rows of eyelets in the middle. I was surprised I actually cut the yarn as I was so frustrated at that point I almost broke the yarn and chucked it across the room. *Deep breath* *Calming down now* I am now on row 20 of the other version. Oh well....

I totally know your frustration. For the large rectangle shawl for my mom, I had the cut the yarn three times! And, since it's superwash lambswool, I couldn't spit splice it. Ripping out lace is a nightmare! Hope things are better now......
