Santa Ana Winds = FIRE
Please pray that we don't have to evacuate and for all the firefighters doing their best to save everyone.
11:53am The fire seems to be moving away from my house but right into the path of both my parents and grandparents. They are under MANDATORY evacuation. I am trying to get them to come here even if the drive is out of the way. Not sure we won't all have to leave from here later but so far so good.
4:05pm Most of my family is now here. Mike and my Dad went to get my Mom's car from where she left it outside the evacuation area. They are on their way back now and hopefully will be here soon just in case we have to leave here. I would feel less anxious if everyone was in one spot even if we had to leave it.

Oh keep us posted Cayli! That is so scarey. We had that happen once when we lived on LI. I was 9 months pregnant and had all my stuff ready to evacuate. They luckily stopped the wildfires, but it was a good lesson to have all your important stuff in one spot ready to go.

Oh my gosh.. I didn't realize that there were fires so close to your place! I hope everything will be fine. I'll be thinking about you guys!! It's smokey and gross up here but so far no fire danger in the immediate area. I just keep thinking the wind is going to blow down my house. Make sure to update when you can so we know you are all ok.

yikes. I hope they manage to start getting the fire contained. I had heard the winds were not being cooperative, and we're seeing them plow right through california and on into Arizona. I'll be watching the news, thinking of you over there!

Thank you for updating. I have been keeping tabs on North County online but it's hard to really know what is going on in very specific areas. I'm glad you got your family together in one place. Please call me if there is anything I can do for you guys!
