FO Tuesday

After I finished the skirt, which I have worn 3 times already, I decided to finish one of the projects I had going before the skirt. I picked the Shetland Triangle as I loved the yarn and the pattern was simple. Boring after a while but simple to memorize.

Here it is.

Shetland Triangle - In action

I also got a few while it was blocking.

Shetland Triangle - Upclose

Shetland Triangle

I used just one skein and the size is nice. It is 60" across the top and 34" long. I love the color of the yarn and how it worked out in the pattern. Variegated but super subtle.

Specs:

Yarn Chef Creme Brulee
Size 4 needles
Mods: I used laceweight yarn vs fingering so smaller needles and more repeats were necessary to make it a size I could wear. I ended up with 15 repeats of the body chart and then the border.

The Pi shawl I was working on, also in Yarn Chef yarn, got frogged. I just wasn't feeling it so I ripped and started another mystery knit. I know I said I wasn't doing another one of these but this one had new things I had not done before so I caved. It is lace, of course, but it is knit top down and is garter stitch based. Casting on the 837 stitches was not fun but I like the idea of it getting smaller as we reach the finish line.
