FO Friday

Finally I have something finished for a Friday and it was actually finished on Friday. My knitting was giving me fits last weekend so what is any knitter to do but teach themselves how to crochet. Yes, I decided that I wanted to make this crochet scarf and so I did. I took me far longer then probably anyone who knows how to crochet but it was fun and definitely got the knitting mojo back. Plus it turned out cute.

The pattern is Noe Noa. Something I saw on Lime & Violet's Daily Chum.

I used some gift yarn, Tofutsies, which I loved working with and some leftover off-white yarn for the flowers. I also had the beads in stash so I didn't even have to buy anything which is good when you are trying something for the first time. I mean it could of been a total disaster. Now I don't think I will be switching to crochet any time soon but at least I am no longer put off by it. A complicated pattern might be too much but I might try something a step up from this next, well, after this at least.

Cayli, that scarf is adorable! What a great idea to use that yarn for it...never would have thought of that. Nice!
