What do you think?!
I am really torn on this project and would love some feedback. I am unsure of the beads and their color.

Close up.

Even closer up.

I am not sure why I think they look lost as the color is a huge contrast to the yarn but I keep knitting and looking and knitting and looking and saying in my head you can't even see the beads.
Am I wrong or is the fact that it is a little subtle nice?
The pattern I have to say is great and totally easy to memorize which is in the positive side to keep going but I wanted POP! Guess I needed silver lined beads or something else altogether.

Silver lined beads would pop more, as would matte/silver lined. But I think these will show nicely when you are finished. Nice project! :-)

I think it might just be that you are looking the project on a dark background :) I think the beads look great!

I think the lace is gorgeous...but I have to say that I didn't see the beads at all at first....until I saw the close up. But, I agree with the others...once you're finished and are wearing them with something light-colored, you'll see the beads "pop" then. Beautiful!

I love the subtle contrast. Block the section that you already have finished. Then look at it again. I think it will be beautiful.

Or maybe just larger beads of the same type? It could well be that once the blocking magic happens you will be able to see the beads just right. I love the rainbowness of them!

I just saw this post. I would definately say bigger beads, comparable in size to the medium or largeer openings in the pattern? maybe lay the lace down on a dark fabric, and then just line up some different sizes and colors and patterns of beads over the other ones and see what you like.
