Been a While
I am not sure why I haven't posted in a while. Guess I have just been busy with other stuff. I have been knitting but my last attempt at something new came out ho-hum so I am going to have to force myself to do the finishing. Maybe it will be better when I do. It is Morgan from the new Knitty. I will take pictures after I do the finishing either way so you can see for yourselves.
I have been knitting away on the Secret of the Stole 3. The pattern is going well and I am loving the yarn but it only lasts a few day then I have to find something else to work on and that seems to be my problem.
I have found a few new patterns that have peaked my interest. 2 are in the new Mason-Dixon book. Here are the 2 I like. (That is the only place I could find them that wasn't on Ravelry. Guess we have similar taste.)
The others are in Casual Elegant Knits which I won in a contest held by Susan. Besides a few of the hats the Little Flirt Skirt is one I really like. But I am thinking of switching the yarn out for some denim I have so I have to take the shrinkage into account. Swatching and washing will be required.
Hopefully I will be around more often. I mean I know you want to see the hat.

Your stole is so pretty! You have always been able to do several knitting projects at one time and they are always beautiful!

I'm so excited about the new lace stole! It's great that it's unlike all of the ones that have come so far. The subtleness of us is perfect. And the color seems to go perfectly with the pattern, too.
