A Blog Post in Pictures
First up a sock I knit that doesn't fit well and I don't think I will knit the mate. Plan to rip it out and start over.

Socks I did finish that I think are very fun and cute.

Some roving I dyed and plan to spin as soon as I finish what I have going.

Roving I dyed forever ago and just spun. It went from this...

into this.

632 yards from just 5oz. It is a 2 ply that is really close to laceweight at about 25WPI.
I am currently spinning this...

into this.

I am also knitting this, Hamsa.

I think my next knitting project might be with some of the handspun but we will see for now this is enough. I have plans to dye more fiber as the spinning bug has been taking off again and I have a nice sized stash in white. It is hard not to buy it already dyed but I am being cheap, or maybe that is thrifty, lately.

argh, ye matey! Love yer pirate socks! heheheh yeah I know I suck as a pirate, even though it is quite fun to act as one hehe!
The first sock is so pretty! Too bad it doesn't fit, to tight socks are no fun! Beautiful dyed fluff, and lovely handspun too! Can't wait to see the lace grow up, it looks like its going to be beautiful!!
I know! The price of already dyed roving is really expensive! White is like $2/ounce and already dyed is what $3.50/ounce. Playing with dye is so much fun!

Holy Crap! Where do I start??? Okay....first I love all of your handdyed fiber. The laceweight handspun is soo gorgeous! And those socks, socks! Why doesn't the first one fit you right? It looks perfect. The pirate beaded socks are incredible! What pattern is that??
You are so talented. Wanna come and spin some of my overflowing piles of fiber?? LOL!
